The New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Being a viewer of much childrens TV, I recently watched an episode of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. In this generation, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy, cgi characters, solve a problem each episode using a magical tool robot that gives them 4 options of what to use to solve the mini-obstacles along the way. The way in which it is done is absolutely a remake of Dora the Explorer's one plot and the hook it has with children. What is so ironic about this is that this blatant plagiarism comes from the great expander of copyright entitlements, Disney. It's also mildly amusing that they play off of Bob the Builder in their show Handy Manny, though it's tools that talk there and not machines. You would think that Disney would stay far away from these grey areas since they need the moral high ground to protect Mickey Mouse and keep it from the public domain indefinately.
