New Job
I have a new job. This could have contributed to my lack of posting lately. I now work as an independent contractor. The project I am working on is for Chaffee.com. They provide web publishing solutions to print publishing companies, as well as many other web applications for different industries. I am "telecommuting". This has advantages and disadvantages. I can work without shaving or combing my hair. Going to lunch is the same as going to the kitchen. The commute is about 15 feet from my bedroom to my office. On the other hand, I have to go out of my way to get help if I need it. There's no one around. If I can't figure something out or don't have the resources myself, this can be a problem for me. I hate phones. Something to do with 4 years of customer support. (I like solving problems much more than talking to people). Now that I am aware of this, I plan on doing better at it. It's an opportunity for personal growth. Anyways, I'm off to get the application working locally now that I have the database migrated.

it starts at about 15$ a month, and if you need a lot of reference material its is awesome.
I have the library get me the base package of 10 slots and it works well. I don't need to use it very often, but when i'm working on a new problem and need 1 chapter for 4 different books it pays for itself.
