An Acceptable Time
By Madeline L'Engle
I thought this was a pretty decent book. I've read other of her books that she uses the "tesseract" in as a way to travel through time and space to distant worlds. This happens to be ~ 3000 years ago in New England. I find she binds moral questions, religion and science together in a way that I appreciate in a time where religionists and scientists are often at odds. I like the blending of Celtic and native american mythologies. (I've no idea how accurate it is, but it is a good story.)
