Happy Fourth
Happy Independence Day everyone! I'm very thankful for the bravery of the founding fathers in risking their lives and reputations to stand of to the tyranny and injustices of the empire. I'm glad for the republic we have and the concepts of government that the hard fought changes of our revolution brought about. Today we stand as a beacon to the world of the concepts of liberty, opportunity and good government. Despite our recent economic struggles, we are still the world's only superpower and the modern day Rome. Technology, industry and economy all have their eyes fixed upon the USA. There is an energy crisis. Most of the research into solutions to that crisis is being done here. Whether we deserve it or not, the world looks to us for technological advancement, for education and even entertainment. We are not only a local melting pot, but also the melting pot of the whole world as world cultures fuse in the backdrop of our society and are brought to the rest of the world. There is no bigger world stage. May we put on a good show.

The no child left behind act has destroyed what little good we had left in the system. Teachers need to be able to teach material, not teach for a test.
Its only a matter of time till our secondary education falls behind the rest of the world, if our primary education isn't fixed.
Happy 4th! I hope you guys enjoy it and remember EVERYthing that the founding fathers fought for, and WHY. :)
I like seeing that you are trying to supplement public education instead of replace it. I think that is EXACTLY what parents need to be doing. :)
